初めて海外で（前日に依頼され）英語でショートスピーチをすることになり、緊張してほとんど話せなかった原稿を、ニューヨークの地元新聞社が新聞に掲載し、ビデオを作成してくださいました。

⭐︎2019.3.22 At: NY United Nations Headquarters  Women's Day Memorial Exjitition Party
I am Emi Tanaka. I came from Japan.
First of all, thank Dr. Naima and Mr.George for the opportunity to attend this wonderful exhibition. Thank you very much.
I believe that everyone can live happily in their own way.
Mr.Daisaku Ikeda, the founder of Soka University, where I am currently studying social education, said that  university is for people who can not study at university. For those who can not come to such places, I think I am in such a happy and blessed place.
And by drawing how I live happily in my own way, I hope that those who have seen such works regain their pride and love themselves.
For example, the "flower blooming in space" exhibited this time is drawn as the existence of each star shining in space as if it were blooming.
Even in dark cloudy sky or windy stormy night, there is always a shining star behind the clouds.
In the dialogue between
 M r.Daisaku Ikeda and French art historian René Yuig, there is a statement that "The deeper the darkness, the closer the dawn will be."
As long as the light of hope is in my mind, I believe that the dawn of life will come.
From now on, I would like to express my world freely and share the world where all women and all people can live happily.
What I met you this time is an important treasure in my life.
I hope that through this work, this treasure will shine more and the world where we live happily will expand. Thank you very much. 

 

 

 ⭐︎ 2019年7月 シンガポール 文化大臣を迎えての展覧会でのスピーチ

 

⭐︎日本の女性アーティストとして、あなたの国の女性アーティストの強みと弱みは何ですか、そして私たちの生活と社会に対する芸術教育の重要な影響についてどう思いますか？ 

As a lady artist of Japan,what are the strengths and Weaknesses of lady artists in your country and what do you think about the important impacts of art education on our life and society? 

 

私は田中恵美です。私は日本から来た画家です。今回皆さんの作品を初めて拝見し、大変感銘を受けました。ここにおられる素晴らしい芸術家であられる皆様にお会いできたことは、私の大きな喜びと誇りです。この素晴らしい展覧会に参加する機会をくださったMS.LimsucluanとMs. NEKOに心から感謝申し上げます。誠にありがとうございます。
私は今日、日本の女性アーティストとしての強みと弱み、私たちの生活と社会に対する芸術教育の重要な影響についての考察を簡単にお話ししたいと思います。
始めに、日本の女性アーティストとしての強みを生む条件の一つとして、日本は多様な自然の色彩と歴史を持ち、豊かで深い文化を有する土壌であるということがあります。そんな日本の土壌は、細やかな色彩を見分ける眼と、重層的に物事を提える心を育むことができます。日本人の素質の上に女性アーティストとしての直感と率直さを生かした作品を作ることができるのは、日本の女性アーティストとしての大きな強みの一つであると思います。
一方、その弱みとしては、日本人固有の文化や性質として、日本では美徳とされてきた謙虚さや謙遜する言動が、他国の人に理解されることが難しく、時には誤解を招く恐れがあるということがあります。日本人が他国でプロのアーティストとして活動するときは、このような日本人として普段意識していない性質や特徴を認識しておかないと、弱い立場に置かれる可能性があります。
次に私たちの生活と社会に対する芸術教育の重要な影響についての考察です。
学会誌『美術教育学 』に掲載された岩井香織氏の論文には、近年の芸術教育の目的の潮流として4つがあげられています。
まず一つ目に、国際的競争力のための創造力育成があります。
第二に、異なった文化背景をもつ芸術作品の鑑賞を通して、世界には異なった価値観や優先順位があること、また多様な感情の表現方法があることを知ることができます。
そして第三に、自国のアイデンティティと芸術伝統を知ることができます。
最後、第四に、近年、ユネスコなどの国際機関や民間の活動の中に頻繁に見られるようになってきた平和教育を主眼においた芸術教育があります。
これらの目的を持った近年の芸術教育は、私達の生活と社会に経済発展や、私たちが多角的な視野や思考を培うことに貢献しています。また生活や社会における芸術教育は、自分のアイデンティティや平和思想を構築するきっかけにもなり得ます。
現在私が社会教育を学んでいる創価大学の創立者である池田大作氏と、フランスの美術史家ルネ・ユイグ氏の対談集「闇は暁を求めて」の中で、ユイグ氏が語っているように、私たちの生活や社会の中での芸術教育は、人々にまだ意識化されていない問題や現実の本質に気づく力を、養うきっかけになるのではないでしょうか。
また、ユイグ氏との対談の中で池田氏は、「本当の芸術家とは、その優れた技術、強い個性とともに、なによりも人間的・内面的な豊かさ、人間や万物に対する深い愛情を持った人でなければならないと思っています。」（※3）と語っています。
私は、このような深い愛情を持って表現された芸術があってこそ、芸術教育が生活や社会にとって重要かつ善い影響を与えると考えます。
私は、芸術と教育の基本は、「人の、より善く生きることを求める性質」にあると考えます。その上で私は、互いを尊重し、それぞれが自分らしく輝いて共に幸せに生きる世界を実現できると信じて、作品を制作しています。
私は、芸術教育が、人間に内在している善性を呼び起こすことが、私たちの生活や社会においての重要な影響であり、使命であると考えます。
私は、ここに集われている皆さんとともに、その使命を果たしていくことを願って、私の話を結びたいと思います。

2021.9.9〜9.24　ただいまイタリアとスペインにて同時開催される国際現代美術展『D.E.M.O』に出品中です。

Each color has a wavelength, which affects our mind and body.  I create works that incorporate the effects of color in order for us to live healthy and rich.  And the theme of my work is always love and peace.
 By drawing a presence that lives happily in own way, I hope that people who see my work regain their pride and love themselves.
 For example, my work, "flower blooming in space",is drawn as a flower in which each other of the sparkling stars in the space is blooming.
 Even in a thick clouded sky or a windy stormy night, there is always a shining star beyond that cloud.
 In a dialogue between Daisaku Ikeda, the founder of Soka University where I am currently studying social acupuncturist, and French art historian René Yuig, there is a sentence in the following text:  .
” I believe that the dawn of life will come as long as the heart has a light of hope.”
 I want to express my world in my own way and to share the world in which all people live happily in their own way with all the people in the world through my work.
